Kennington Athletic Football Club is located in the village of Kennington on the outskirts of Oxford. Founded in 1968 as Kennington Boys Football Club its identity changed at the start of the 2005-2006 season to Kennington Athletic to reflect the increasing number of girls playing for the club and the addition of girls only teams.

 

The club has teams ranging from under 7s to under 15s. The mixed teams and boys from under 11 - 15 play in the Oxford Mail Boys' League and the girls in the Oxford Mail Girls' League.
